October in Stingers Squad: A Month of Fun and Creativity!

October in the Stingers Squad has been jam-packed with fun! The students have been excited and engaged in a variety of activities.

First, we want to give a huge shout-out to all our students who worked hard for weeks to put on an amazing Art Expo. We appreciate all the families and friends who came out to view the art and support our talented young artists!

Additionally, the Stingers Squad Fall Festival was a tremendous success! We would especially like to thank all the parents who volunteered their time to help with setup, cleanup, and activity stations. From face painting to bounce houses, the glow room to golf pong, and bobbing for apples to axe throwing, all the students had an absolute blast!

Stingers Squad staff, with the help of many students, competed in our second annual Stingers Squad pumpkin decorating competition. The competition was fierce this year, and all our voters—students, faculty/staff, and parents—had a hard time choosing just one favorite. In the end, only one winner could be chosen: The Genie by Mr. TJ, Ms. Epiphany, and their entire PreK class! The Porcupine (decorated by Mr. Paris, Ms. Fiyin, and the 1st graders) took 2nd place, while The Very Hungry Caterpillar (created by Mr. K and his Kindergarten class) earned 3rd place! Stingers Squad is incredibly blessed to have a staff full of talented and creative individuals.

As always, Stingers Squad welcomes your questions and feedback. You can reach us at stingerssquad@stbs.org or (678) 388-1521.
