St. Benedict's Episcopal School's Parent Association is excited to invite the St. B's community to our 13th Annual Fun Run on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 7:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
This fun-filled event will kick off with Bib Pickup and Race Day registration opening at 7:30 A.M. Races will begin at 9:00 A.M., starting with a Tot Trot for the littles, followed by multiple heats of our student, parent, staff, and alumni one-mile race. After the race, all participants will enjoy raffle drawings, snacks, and a dance party. Our awards ceremony will take place around 9:45 A.M. This annual event is fun for everyone, even if running isn't your thing!
In celebration of St. Benedict's 15-year Anniversary, we're making this year's event extra special!
To make it happen, we need lots of volunteers! Help us by setting up, marking the course, directing runners, or lending a hand in our medical tent. This is an excellent opportunity for Stinger alumni to reconnect with former classmates and earn volunteer hours. We have over 70 volunteer slots available—sign up today by clicking here!
Here are some fun facts about this year's Fun Run:
Students, staff, alumni, and parents will all run together this year! Everyone who registers for the one-mile race will receive a chipped bib and an official time. If you are a parent, alumni, or staff member and would like to run, please select "I am not a student" when choosing a grade during registration. (K-8th siblings of current St. B's students can select their appropriate grade.)
Tie-dyed T-shirts are back! Available on the registration site, even if you don't race! Register by Friday, September 27, 2024, to guarantee your T-shirt size. We can't guarantee sizes after this date.
T-shirt Pickup at School: To ensure correct sizing and receipt of all ordered T-shirts, families can pick up their shirts during the week of the race. Dates and times will be shared soon.
Fun Run Spirit Wear Day: Students and faculty can show off this year's T-shirt on Friday, October 18, 2024. Your Stinger can wear any Fun Run T-shirt (current or previous year) with uniform bottoms.
Pre-Race Registration Deadline: Registration closes on Thursday, October 17, 2024. You can still register on race day starting at 7:30 A.M., but there will be an additional $8 fee per entry.
