The St. Benedict's Episcopal School Auxiliary Programming team (Stingers Squad) would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the St. B’s families who will be participating in our programs this school year. From extended care to Clubs and Stingers Unplugged days, we are proud to have provided quality care and fun programming for over 430 St. B’s students during the 2023-24 academic year!
Our administrative team (Maurice Shaffer, Ashlee Bryant, Anna Fincher, and Janice Wheaton) has taken great care to make Stingers Squad programs the best St. B’s has ever had, and is aiming to make 2024-25 even better! They sincerely appreciate your support of Stingers Squad programs and welcome any feedback you may have. This school year, Stingers Squad is excited to launch a shared to provide parents with a more in-depth look at what their students are doing during extended care. You’ll see activities that follow our daily themes, more seasonal/holiday crafts than you can count, science experiments, art projects, outdoor fun, and much more!
As we begin the school year, Stingers Squad will post regular blog posts on their webpage, as well as provide fun photos in the shared album, in an effort to provide transparency into Stingers Squad’s programs. Finally, Stingers Squad will be holding occasional Showcase days when parents will be invited to come into the aftercare classrooms for special events! Keep an eye out for blog posts and emails inviting you to these events.
